I would recommend finding a Skype tutor or starting a course on Memrise.

There are various podcast sites. But if you also want to speak, you should definitely seek the help of a skilled speaker (native speaker would be perfect) to correct your mistakes. There's only so much you can notice yourself but it's especially important to memorise things correct as a beginner. Bad habits are hard to get rid of later on.

The Memrise app has some audio exercices which might be helpful. At least it helps me with Dutch

You should check out this topic about a site I made some time ago: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/5256823

I didn't do much improvement recently, but I think it's still pretty useful.

O melhor era esl podcast com a dr lucy tse. Mas eles alteraram o formato do site todo. cagaram nele. e agora tudo é pago. ficou uma bosta. deixou de ser o melhor site de els podcast para se tornar o pior. muito triste isso.

I highly recommend Radio Ambulante podcast for practicing Spanish (I'd say high intermediate). They have transcripts online as well as English translations, so you can be sure you're getting the jist without looking up every word. Would love to know of any similar podcasts for other languages (French, Italian)
