I received a 5.0 a long while back. I'm focusing on two other languages now instead of Spanish, so I'm sure my score would be much lower at the moment.

One month ago I got 1.73

Two weeks ago 2.03

And just now, because you asked 2.33

I've finished the Spanish tree twice, it took about a month each time and I'll be through with the reverse tree this weekend. I think that's pretty good, I can read some and I can see myself improving.

I'm level 14 in Spanish and 9 on the reverse tree.

Received a 5.0 for English at the first time I tried to test it. I already learned it when I was younger and I have been speaking it for years, but it's nice to see that Duolingo thinks I speak it well :)

My latest score is three weeks old. I was at level 14 in Irish then and got 3.7 in the progress quiz. I'm quite proud of that since my scores before were 0.82 and 2.26, so 3.7 is a huge improvement for me! ^_^ I'd say that 3.49 is pretty good, but then again, you should not compare your own success to the success of others. Just take your time and continue studying and I'm sure you'll get 5.0 one day. :)

4.55 On Spanish, back in June shortly after I finished the tree :) Just asking, how fluent would you say I am in Spanish based on my test result? Thanks!

4.74 - Portuguese (from a 3.19 on my first quiz after taking one semester of Portuguese) 4.42 - French ( from a 1.69 at level 8. My goal is a 5 here; we'll see how that goes) 3.71 - Italian (I would score lower now) 5 - Spanish (doesn't count, I got that before I started the tree)

I took the German test since I haven't looked at it in about four months. I got a 0.61, about what I would expect.

I've just taken it and got 4.16 on French. Also, I've got a 5/5 on English but that doesn't count as a lot of people here know english (obviously)

3.49 is pretty good, actually. It's more than average so you would be like 60-70% "fluent" in German (by DL's standards, keep that in mind)

I am in level 13 actually; it somehow does not display correctly at times.
Several decades ago I took French in school for four years, so a lot of what I do here is unearthing vocabulary I used to have.
And I practice French on lingvist.io for about an hour a day on top of my duolingo exercises.

I got 2.7 just now (I took it after I read this) and got 1.78 three weeks ago. :) I'm level 13 Dutch and have been doing Dutch for 34 days.

it took me like 6 months to get to level 13 in German

I've been learning Dutch itself very casually on and off for 6 months. I've just gotten more serious in the last month. My boyfriend is Dutch and I'm unemployed so I've got a lot of time on my hands, haha.

I just took the quiz and got 5.00/5.00. I am at level 15 in German but I use more than Duolingo with my German study.

Can anyone explain how the results are figured out? We're being marked out of 5, why not the standard 100 and give a percentage score? Or at the least the amount of correct answers from the total? I got 2.95 / 5, does this equate to 59%? Thanks. Spanish level 15, 51% fluency.
