Why not have a grammer and spelling course for when you complete a language

I have been doing Spanish for a few months now, and sometimes I lose the question because I misspell something or use the wrong word. They should teach us grammer and spelling too, ( also please tell me if I misspelled grammer it has a red underline :) lol) so please like this or share your thoughts if you agree.

*Grammar ;)

When you say they should teach us grammar and spelling too, how are they not? I mean, showing you the word teaches you how to spell it. And putting that word into multiple sentances teaches you how and when to use it.

Misspelling and/or using the wrong word is pretty much what making a mistake in translating between languages is! I agree that Duo is not great at teaching grammar, but Duo does teach it, and there are many sites/books that do a great job -- and dictionaries, too. ;)

Is the half heart thing still for test runs only? Or has that gone full swing? My before was that you get four hearts, spelling errors and grammar errors drop one full heart. But, a lot of people were upset because of spelling errors, now, I lose one heart but I can correct something to get half a heart left. If this is for everything, then, I think that they've effectively given us a chance to make 5 errors instead of 4 (we get 1 mistake after running out). If we spend lingots to buy an extra heart then we get even more chances.

PS I use youtube to find grammar tutorials. :) There are also the language forums here on DL. Just go to the right side of the general discussion forum and scroll down to where the flags are and select a language and you go to the forum to discuss that language.

With the half hearts you can make six failures before the owl is crying, when you correct each error and you don't make errors in a multiple choise.
