I have a huge interest in Québécois and I was wondering if they would consider making a Québécois Course. As some of you might know Québécois is very different from standard French. With major vocabulary differences and some grammatical differences.Sadly there are next to no Québécois resources.

Thanks,

I don't think we need a Québécois course for French anymore than we need a Cockney course for English. As for a Québécois course for English, I think Duolingo is focused more on adding more languages than teaching dialects of languages they already teach. As much as I would love to learn European Portuguese and Canadian French.

I guess.. but at least European Portuguese has resources to learn it while Québécois seriously doesn't.

What are the resources for European Portuguese? I've been looking a little and I haven't found any.

Many Quebeckers can also speak standard French which means that when talking to people that aren't from Quebec they will usually swap to standard French. But this may not be the case here.

Please make a course like this for English speakers. I am learning regular French now, and plan to work on the Québécois French Course in the 100 Languages of the World Software available at Staples. The 100 Languages of the World course is so difficult I can not really wrap my head around it as a beginner. Quebec is very close if you live in NY. I am sure many Canadian people would use it as well.
