I do not understand the difference between "wobei" and "wo". Let's say I am talking with a friend, he tells me about a concert and I want to know the venue, should I ask "wobei?" or simply "wo?"?

"wobei" doesn't mean "where". It means "how". Am I right assuming your native language is Italian? In Italian, it means "come", "con che cosa" or "nella qual cosa".

so that means the correct answer is just wrong. yes I am italian and thank you for the links.
