What I the difference of the app and the online version?
I have the app but the online version is much difference like there are costumes can I access it on here or no?
BTW I hope you have a wonderful day, you are all special
I use both of them and while some of the other people here have detailed the differences better (the link to the Wikia is fantastic) I will make a few comments about the app vs the website:
The website is a much more complete learning experience. You can access the word list and flash cards (for the languages that have them), the whole list of languages available (some Beta languages have not been added to one or all of the apps yet - Russian, for example, has only been available for a couple weeks on the website and likely will not be added to the apps for another couple months), and Immersion if that is anything you're interested in. Discussions are also available natively on the website and they are not native in app (although you can pull up the mobile version of the website to access them - I read the discussions from my mobile more often than from my computer, to be honest).
The app, on the other hand, is handy for learning on the go. I particularly like it for strengthening skills while I'm out and about doing other things (I'm one of those weirdos that'll strengthen while waiting in line to check out at the grocery store, haha). However, the lessons tend to be easier due to the types of questions asked on mobile -- matching, single word translations, forming sentences from a word bank, etc are all so, so much easier than having to write the sentences full out like most of the questions on the web are.
The app has fewer features (for example, no sentence discussions on iOS) and the exercises are much easier, which makes it worse for learning.
I do use the app sometimes but it is confusing like what do the outfits benefit
