I’ve just finished my Dutch tree! I'm so excited about this!!! :))
Studying Dutch is such a great and amazing thing. I'm learning more the aspects of the English language. Last week, my english teacher asked me what the word "dear" in this text mean. I said "expensive" and he was really impressed because he thought I would never guessed. Thanks to Dutch I know that "dear" means expensive because of the word "duur".
Wow, awesome achievement! Is this your first completed tree? Any tips for other Dutch learners? :D
Gefeliciteerd. I am getting ready to read my first Dutch novel too, so good luck!
Thank you very much! Good luck to you too!
Thanks a lot! :)
Thank you! Good luck with your tree!!! :)
This tree is going much better than my tomato plant that died after 5 days lolz
עברית! הייתי קצת מופתע. איזו הפתעה משמחת!!! חייתי בישראל (בבת ים) לפני כן. תודה לך :))
Wat is de wereld toch klein! :))))
Mi ne komprenis kion vi diris! Sed mi volas paroli en alian lingvon ankaŭ!
Gefeliciteerd! Reading a book in Dutch is quite difficult for me too--at least for now. :)
It's just a name for the lessons. I heard they used to look like a tree, but not anymore.
I am doing the opposite of you. I studied Dutch about five years ago (took me 2 years of classes) and am now doing the german tree. When I am finished I will do the Dutch tree to see what I recall. I never got proper Dutch pronunciation but read a couple books in dutch. Proficiat!
Nice job! I have been neglecting my own Dutch tree, I'm afraid. I'll try and do some Dutch today! Dank je!
Thanks a lot :) For Dutch I spent 1,5-2 hours every day, without any exception. Sometimes (on weekend for example) it was about 3-3,5 hours for Dutch only. I really got a lot of fun and pleasure from this course :) Interesting and useful words and phrases, I find it just great! :)
I've completed it in 3 weeks too (20 day streak), I have some time pressure because I'm going to NL next week for work. I guess I did about that amount of time per day as well. I suppose I got a little addicted ...
I understand you completely, the same here with me :) If I have a special motivation like a new job, I am trying to learn everything I can as soon as possible :) I wish you every success and good luck with your work!
Well done, do you find it more productive to spend a lot of time on each section until you feel you got it or do you just go through it right to the end and go back over stuff you feel you maybe weak at?
