If I recall correctly it has to come out of beta first which depends on the number of error reports. It'll probably be awhile.

I'm pretty sure this isn't true, actually. I don't have any specific examples to back this up, but I'm pretty sure a bunch of courses get the app released before coming out of beta. It still takes a few weeks/months, but not necessarily after leaving beta.

Hi! You are both correct - kinda. If the course has less than a certain number of error reports per 100 users, the course will be released in phases. The first to come out will be Android, followed by iOS whenever it meets another threshold. Finally, if the course is under 3 reports for 100 users for 3 consecutive days, the course can leave beta.

Please keep in mind that this is based of speculation from other courses, and therefore might not be 100% accurate.

I completed the tree from my phone using the browser, but the strange thing is that there appeared to be no way to send error reports or make comments. When I switch to my Android app it says 'unrecognized language' and elsewhere completely ignores it, not even showing my Catalan level.

You can use the internet explorer to work on your phone (safari,chrome,etc) until the app shows the catalan course :)

It isn't - disappointing. Hopefully it will be soon. I'm happy it's finally launched, and it shouldn't be long before the app is available, hopefully.

Im also waiting for cataln to be in the app because duolingo is a little weird in the browser, I have to click twice in the same button for this button to take effect.
