"I am short and I have short dark hair."

Translation:Я низька на зріст і я маю коротке темне волосся.

невже так суттєво додавати "на зріст"; так неправильно "Я низький і маю коротке темне волосся"?

Несуттєво. Має прийматися без "на зріст". I reported it.

Без добавления "на зріст" не принимает!

Hi! I translated "Я низький і маю коротке темне волосся", but it was considered wrong. Is it indispensable to use "height" in this sentence, or is just a matter of good style? Thanks for the answer!

Can someone explain where I went wrong with the possessive?

Sure, what did you try to write?

what is a difference between у мене є and я маю?

This is a good example of how Ukrainian sits in between Polish and Russian. Russians say У меня есть, and Poles say Ja mam.

низька на зріст ?? why "short in stature" for short in regards to people and not just низька ? короткий covers short hair, short day etc so I'd expect низька should be enough of a distinction.
