Phonetically transcribing Russian

Is there any way for Duolingo to show Russian script when I'm translating in the lesson (assuming I can find a Russian keyboard to download)? It's driving me nuts to phonetically translate the Russian.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Yes, there's a button at the upper left at the start of each lesson that toggles betweeen Cyrillic and Latin scripts.

Your computer should already have a Russian keyboard installed.

There is a little switch at the top of the page in Russian lessons. Click that to switch to Cyrillic display.

Thanks, you guys! That really helps.

I don't know about the Russian keyboard already being installed on my computer, though. It's over 10 years old and if it's there, I've never seen it.

OK, I stand corrected. I don't know why I wasn't able to do this before, but I went into Languages on my computer and set it for Cyrillic and Russian, had to restart, and what came up was a toggle button so I could switch between typing in English and Cyrillic. So with that and being able to switch the lessons into Cyrillic as well, I think I'm set.

The only thing I have to do now is find a copy of the Russian keyboard online, because I need to learn where the letters are. That shouldn't be too hard. My German teacher let me take home a Russian typewriter once to practice on, and I got pretty good on that. Of course, it's been 40 years, so I may need a refresher course or two or three or......

Thanks again!

Just print out the lines of your keyboard in Cyrillic and keep that for reference, or keep the file open in a window you can refer to when you need it. Or refer to Microsoft, if you've loaded the standard keyboard.
