Ho deciso il percorso...

Hi, I was thinking what I would do after I finish my Italian for English tree. I saw that many people did the inverse tree.. but I think I'm going to do something different:

English -> Italian -> French -> Spanish -> Portuguese

i.e. Italian for English-speaking, French for Italian, Spanish for French and Portuguese for Spanish-speaking trees.

Has anyone else chosen this path or anything similar? I think that it will take me 3 years to do this at the rate I'm learning Italian right now...

What do you think? G.

That sounds a great idea. I was going to do Spanish from Italian but it isn't ready yet so I have started French from Italian (in parallel from English from Italian which I started several months ago and recently finished the tree.)

Yes, the availability of certain trees has yielded the above path... for example italian had only two courses available...

I think it's a nice idea. :) (Plus I'm one of the moderators of the French/Italian trees so it makes me happy you want to try out our tree ;) xD ) Good luck! :) Actually, I've taken that path kind of. I'm now studying Spanish for German speakers, and it helps a lot to practise both languages. :)

Good, I'll double-check the quality of Italian -> French tree :)

Why not. It's like taking the long way from the supermarket to your house so you can also buy other things. Let us know how it worked for you, it might even start a trend.
