Never heard someone use "Да, именно" in the case like this. Most of the time I've heard it as "Да, именно TAK". The first version would be more correct maybe in cases like "Да, именно OH" or "Да, именно здесь" or smth like that.. Correct me if I'm wrong

I second that. On the other hand, just "Именно" is frequently used in this sense.

конечно - "of course", while точно/именно - "exactly"
