Obviously in English there are separate words for seas and oceans. Does hav work for both of them, or is there a different term/real difference in Norwegian?

'ocean' = 'verdenshav/hav'

'sea' = 'hav/sjø'

'lake' = 'innsjø/sjø/vann(/vatn)'

edit: added 'innsjø'

you can also use innsjø for lake :)

Thanks! I think I knew sjö from Swedish, but somehow I didn't remember that it is used in Norwegian as well. :)
