A reverse tree is when you learn your source language from your target language. So if, for example, you're taking Italian for English Speakers, the reverse tree is English for Italian Speakers.

What it does is reinforce your skills because most trees have you do more translation from the target into the source, so if you do the reverse tree you're writing more in what your target language is because you'll be translating from English more often.

A reverse tree is when you choose your target language when you sign up for courses as your native language and try to learn your native language. For example, let's say you finish your Italian tree, and your native language is English. So you would start with the Italian from English tree. Once that tree is completed, you then decide to sign up for the reverse tree....English from Italian.
