Hand written Cyrillic?

Do you have any tips on how I can improve my Russian hand writing and comprehension?

I've been thinking that it would be nice if we at least could have some exercises that include Cyrillic cursive, so we don't stay completely illiterate to hand written text.

Practice, practice, practice! If you don't have something to write about in Russian, just try copying out short paragraphs, maybe from books you would like to read sometime when your Russian is more advanced. And, as TheHockeyist said, search for прописи, which will give you worksheets for handwriting practice (letter formation).

Well, I said that. ;-)

Dang! You're right, TheHockeyist. I apologize and will fix the reference. Please accept some lingots.

Well, thank you. That was a pleasant surprise.

You're welcome. They are my today's winnings plus 1. BTW, there's a sample of Russian handwriting here on Duo (Shady_arc's). Besides that, the article discussed, which is linked to by "тут" at the end of the original post, is pretty funny, and it has a link to the English buzzfeed original, too.

Look up прописи. It should help.

for start, I really loved this website and carefully practiced all the animated words (some were pretty difficult as I write horribly even the latin cursive)

after that, I suppose it is only a matter of practice. if you're more advanced at it than I am, which is quite probable, than I don't know.

I think this video on print style could help (small and capital letters here are same in cyrillic) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vMoNCPm2zE Also kid's practice sheets https://yadi.sk/i/YTnx9cfT3EQTVy The video on cursive style https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KipmFFHYhtE and practice sheets https://yadi.sk/i/c6w2UIYnt9BT4
