How did you find Duo?
My teacher reccomended it to me. I got this idea from How did you find duolingo
Honestly just stick with it. "Strengthen skills" is your friend. It's not a race to finish the tree (after 2 years of work, I won't finish for another 6 months) - it's making sure you really know what you're studying.
For me at first it was the hardest out of the languages in which I have a high level.
For me it got a lot easier after I figured out usage of de, ce/cet/celle/ces, and word order in questions. 2 years in and I still get noun gender wrong in french more often than in german.
If you're confused, reach out on the forums or online. At the end of the day if you throw enough hours into it you'll figure it out.
2 years ago, the summer before 8th grade, I wanted to find a way to get ahead of my French class, since 8th grade is the year you start learning a foreign language. I just searched the App Store learn a language for free, and duolingo came up!
Now I keep getting tempted to start other languages, but I have to control myself and stick to German and French!
Mon aime! My friend actually posted about it on Facebook a loooooong time ago and I had been interested at the time, but in June I was looking for extra language help and I remembered her mentioning DL so I tried it and haven't looked back since! (my friend is no longer active here though)
