This is just an idea, but I figure I would share with the community to see their opinion. Personally, I love to make flash cards to study words, but sometimes I get bored of the normal just translate. So I figured I should make a game. With the words you can place them with the foreign language side of the card face up, and draw 7 cards, and try to make the biggest sentence you can (you can use as many or as little indirect and direct articles) If you have friends who are also learning the language, you can play along. The only thing, it has to make sense! Do you guys have any fun study games, I would love to hear then! Takk!
Hi there! Thanks for posting, this sounds like a good learning strategy I will definitely try. A sort of study game I try sometimes is when I am in a room I try to name as many things I can in my environment in the foreign language I am practicing, like if I am in my kitchen I might say "la mesa" (the table) "la comida" (the food) ect. I hope this helps you good luck learning:)!
Great idea! I sometimes do this at the store if I see random things and I remember the word for it.
I really like this idea!
For me, I created a Brazilian Portuguese quiz on QuizUp. I wrote all of the questions, I'm nearing 500 at this point. Whenever I come across a word that I'm having trouble remembering, or a tricky grammar rule, etc. I turn it into a question and it's kind of like a better flashcard, since the question will force me to apply my Portuguese more creatively vs. just remembering a word.
