I put "Aunt Toma is there, where mama is" and it was counted wrong. Can someone explain why?
I put something similar. I don't get how it got to Aunt Toma is where Mom is.
If the comma was not there then it would be Auntie Toma is where Mom is.
It was a mistake on the Correct Answer
I wrote "aunt toma is there, where is mom?"
Can anyone tell me why this is not correct and how I would say the sentence I thought this meant. Thanks :)
"Тітка Тома там. Де мама?"
i wrote the same
I thouth it said that where is mom
I notice that 'mom' and 'dad' are always incorrect and replaced with 'ma' and 'da'
Could we also translate this as " Aunt Toma is there, where is mother ?"
I'd read this phrase as : ' Aunt Toma is there, where is Mom?'
Interesting . I'd read this sentence as : 'Aunt Toma is there, where is Mom?'
This says aunt Toma is there, where is mom.
I'd have to say this is a stupid sentence, who says this this? At least in English...
