What is the different between boit and bois?

May 31, 2012

Verbs are conjugated in 6 different forms: Je (I), Te (You), Il/Elle (him or her), Nous (we), Vous (you plural, or formal you), and Ils/Elles (they).

"Bois" is the conjugation for first-person singular (Je bois, or I drink) or second-person singular (tu bois, or you drink). "Boit" is the conjugation for third person singular (Il/Elle boit, or he or she drinks).

Logan, it was probably just a typo but it's Tu instead of te

Boire= to drink, and it is conjugated based on the subject (Je, tu, il, elle, on, nous, vous, ils, elles)
