Admins, can you add tab WORDS to menu? Like in German or Italian language. Thank you :)

You may access the Swedish Words tab through a quirk that Duolingo has.

  • Open a tab with Duolingo
  • Change the language to one that has the Words tab, e.g. French
  • Open another tab with Duolingo, and change the language to Swedish in this tab
  • Go to the first tab with French still set as the language, and click on the Words tab
  • You will get a Words tab with Swedish vocabulary.

The list you see will have a lot of strange <*sf> entries, but they thankfully don't show up when reviewing flashcards. Hope this helps, and feel free to share to others who have the same question.

Is it ok to point to this memrise course that is based on duolingo's swedish course?

I found it is great (but unfortunately it still misses the skills after the last checkpoint).

@Admin: Feel free to delete this post if the link to memrise violates some guidelines.

Hello, maintainer of the course here. I actually added most of the final branch the other day! I believe that there are 3 skills left for me to finish now?

I have to agree though. The lack of a "Words" tab is a huge shame and I think that the Memrise course fills that gap pretty well.

If anyone notices any issues or has ideas relating to changes or improvements then please post on the forums. And as @eekboom said, if this is against the rules somehow then feel free to delete my post or whatever.

Hoooraay! That was just in time for me ;-)

Thanks a million for all the work you put into that course!

Haha, that's pretty lucky then. I am "only" responsible for the latter 42/66 skills (I took over from the original creator) but thank you anyway and you're welcome!

They don't plan to add Words or Immersion tabs to recent Incubator languages such as Swedish, unfortunately.

Even though everyone wants it, they insist on being stubborn. :(

Duolingo is great but it's a bit of a shame that they don't really pay any attention to their communit(y/ies).

Furthermore, us mods don't control that.
