Hello

I am taking different courses:

Spanish from English,

German from English,

Russian from English,

English from Polish,

English from Spanish,

Catalan from Spanish.

My problem is that, changing between for example German from English and Catalan from Spanish is taking much time and many operations (settings->languages->choose language from list->save->then go to homescreen).

Please make it possible to choose ALL courses from the list that is placed on the top bar when you move your cursor over a flag placed next to profile photo.

The link above is to a discussion about a userscript that allows you to easily switch between courses. I do not use the script myself, and I don't know if it is being actively maintained or not, but I thought I would pass it on.

There are other helpful user scripts (possibly other course switching scripts) in the Unofficial (but still Awesome) Duolingo Wiki.

Hello, I'm glad you have gotten some responese and suggestions for what you can try. Please move your post out of the Troubleshooting forum. This forum is only for glitch reports. General suggestions should be posted to Duolingo (English). Thanks! :)

Another way you can do it, is to go here
and press on the link that says course, in the blue writing, and it will take you to the introductory page for the course you have selected, that allows you to then ' switch to course '.

This discussion link - also has links to other resources for all the current courses that are not in Beta 1, that can be useful to allow you to link into, such as to locate relevant moderators for that course.

Yes please! show all activated courses in that list. I am a German native speaker. To test my status in English I've German-English activated. Also I do German-French. As there is no Esperanto for German and I do consider my English good enough I wanted to add English-Esperanto to take a peek into Esperanto.

But now my English course has gone astray. I'm happy to see that it's not lost as I first thought. But the behavior of the quick-link button removing German-English is neither predictable nor user-friendly.

As an information scientist I do not see any great problems with adding this feature, so please do it :-).

EDIT: Also my German-French course is transferred to an English->French courses at level 1 if I've activated English->Esperanto. Actually I do not want that course at all.

I have now tested that plug-in. It is great. Thank you! However, it should be integrated into the website. Here's the link again: https://github.com/arekolek/DuolingoCourseSwitcher
