Please vote up if you want this course! It will be nice to see some combinations that do not just involve the 'major' languages.

Hello! I'm from Uzbekistan too. Really flattered that there's a Hawaiian who wants to learn Uzbek! I just can't stop wondering why would you want to learn it. Would you mind telling me the reason?

Russian and Indonesian are really 'major' languages...

Well, maybe by the standards of language enthusiasts on Duolingo forums, Russian (160 million native speakers, according to wikipedia) and Indonesian (77 million) may be considered 'major' languages. But, in the real world, I have never met anyone in the USA who speaks any language other than French or Spanish. The only people I have ever met who know other languages have an ethnic connection e.g. I know an American-Indian who knows Gujarati. When I tell people I am learning Russian I get puzzled reactions and people seem to think it is an extremely niche thing to do. Unfortunately, people are not very interested in learning languages, at least not in countries where the closest thing to a global language, English, is spoken :(

Not just by the standards of language enthusiasts on Duolingo forums:) Also, in the real (non-US) world.
