So where are these new German lessons?

I've received yesterday (8th December) an email from Duolingo entitled "Announcing new German lessons!". It suggested, that there are "new phrases and vocabulary". German tree was updated again? But I don't see anything like that.

Perhaps it is an announcement intended for those who didn't get the new lessons the first time through. I didn't get an announcement.

I got the expanded lessons long ago and I got this email a couple of days ago as well. Probably a glitch somewhere in the system.

I got the same email and my tree is not updated either. In the email, to the right of the picture of the person holding a phone, there are lesson symbols (presumably from the new lessons) that I dont have, eg. one looks like a crown.

Maybe they havent been released to everyone yet? I know they usually do staggered releases of new content.

I got the email too. Maybe some skills or lessons have been added further down the tree where I haven't reached yet.

My tree is completely golden and I don't see anything new.

When the tree is updated, some lessons appear incomplete and the golden owl flies away.

Then you've still got the same tree.

there are, since I haven't practiced german for a long time, I noticed new lessons in my tree. So probably you are up to date.

I got an announcement email saying that Russian is now availableon Duolingo, when it's been out for several weeks now.

I'm guessing the "new German lessons" just reflects the "recent" change (a month or two ago now?) and the mail is just similarly late.
