XP

Hello

How do some people earn so much XP per day when i can barely get 100-300 per day. If i complete one lesson i get 10 XP one lesson takes about 3 min on average. so to get like 1000 xp i would have to spend 1000/10x3=300min or 5 hours of duolingo!!

How do some people get around 1000-2000 in a couple of days!?

Is there a way to get more XP fast?

Thanks

Using the Timed Practice can gain 20XP instead of 10 per 20 questions if you get them all right. (You get 1xp per correct answer.) :)

If you do immersion you can gain xp very fast (although you'll have to progress through the levels before the real gains start to show up.) When I am really trying I can get some 10,000 xp per week through immersion.

Immersion (where you translate articles into the language you're learning) can get you up to 10,000+ XP from a single article (if your translation tier is 4 or higher) and many people use it to get XP.

Timed Practice (this can be purchased in the Lingot Store) also helps by giving you one XP per correct answer (there are 20 questions in timed practice).

Whenever you get an answer right, it gives you more time. Usually, if you're very fast and you get all the answers right, you have 2:40 mins when you come to the end.

you can choose to use it sometimes and not use it sometimes. buying it just gives you the option. I don't really like it for Danish as i find i am too slow typing the Danish vowels and then it gets stressful when you are running out of time.
