within temptation are a gothic rock/symphonic metal band from the netherlands.. if you're into rock/metal, i highly suggest them.

also nightwish. the majority of the band are finnish but they have a new singer, floor jansen, who is dutch. they're also symphonic metal. "endless forms most beautiful" is the new album with floor singing. "showtime, storytime" is a live concert with floor singing past nightwish songs..

Yes, great bands. For learning Dutch not that helpful though, as they sing in English... ;-)

Why not give rap a try? Seriously, rap is a great way to learn any language, provided the rapper enunciates clearly. Here's a good song to start you off: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPPf7Wx3MRo (You might wanna check out some other songs by Fresku, the subject matter is very relatable)

The way he raps and how most other ''normal'' rappers rap is probably the level you want to be able to understand in the future as that's how real Dutch people/Belgians speak.

Try to make out the individual words, essentially making your own transcription of the lyrics, that is, if your level of Dutch allows for it.

If you also want music with a Belgian accent, Clouseau is a good option! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmIQ33lbJ0A
