Can you give an English person's perspective on pronouncing "cookies" in Polish?

Ciasteczka: Approximated to chah-ste-chka: Cha (as in cha cha dance), ste (same as in English), chka (almost the same "ch" as in chocolate but with tongue further back), it is what you would call an affricate.

However, to be accurate, "ciasteczka" is the dimunitive form of the word "cookie". You would ask a child if he/she would like "ciasteczka" as opposed to "ciastka," the non-dimunitive form of the word. But either way works!

Both cz and ć are affricates, the difference is that ć is alveo-palatal (like English, but the tongue is raised more, closer to the palate) and cz is retroflex (the tongue is retracted and the tip touches just behind the alveolar ridge).
