Lost in translation

Today's duolingo lesson brought the amusing revelation that the name of one of the Star Wars heroes sounds like "Onion Skywalker"

Use the force лук!

Any other examples?

He is "Люк" (a hatch), not "Лук" (an onion, a bow).

What is Darth Vader best known for saying? "Luke, I am your Father!" The joke is that Лук means onion or Люк can either mean the Anglicized "Luke" or the word hatch. ;)

That is excellent. Have a few more Lingots to add to your collection!

Jabba from Star Wars is written in Russian as "Джабба", and the word "жаба" (= a toad) sounds very similar. And Jabba does have certain toad features.
