Translation:Turistene kommer fra Amerika.
It's rather colloquial, but yes. In official papers and newspapers you'll rarely see it, unless it is a compounded word like amerikabrev ( America-letters, news sent home by immigrants, back in the days where ships were the only choice of transportation).
Edit: in both Norway and USA, Amerika = America = USA.
The landmass of the continents called "Americas" = Amerika.
So mostly a Norwegian would rather rewrite Americas into an expression containing "continents" to avoid being misunderstood (context would help)
