    Fair dues to him, although it proves that constant use is vital to keep the skill. That's why I'm interested in any place (online or not) where I can attempt to speak Irish and hopefully add to my knowledge and skill, without feeling embarrassed at my lowly skill.

    "Broken Irish is better than clever English".

    Personally, it's one of my least favorite phrases. It's great to encourage people to use whatever Irish they have, but it's too often also used to justify mistakes because "we're not using English'
