I've reached a 30 day streak!
While everyone else is celebrating their completion of the whole tree, I am just happy that I didn't give up after three days. :D Seriously, started as an absolute beginner, it's been a long way for me! Going very very slow... I've been reviewing the previous lessons a lot because I keep forgetting the (many types of) grammatical agreement. Sometimes I can't even tell why a certain sentence should be the way it is, and it takes time to figure out why through comments. I really appreciate the contributors effort for clearing things up there. :)
If anyone else is reaching a 30 day streak, congrats to you too! :)
Très bien! Congratulations on maintaining a entire month! That's awesome. It's exciting when you're actually recalling stuff and learning the language, eh? Although I had a good laugh about how "abusive" DL was during my lessons:
Je suis une baleine.
I am a whale.
Wow, thanks, DL. :D Seriously, though - I'm so excited how much I've been learning on here! May we celebrate again in another 30!!! :)
Thank you! I know, DL is being gross too sometimes. :D That "manger" part!
I read the other day there's a hall of fame for level 25. You're almost there. Keep up the fantastic work!
Congratulations, here is a lingot to encourage you, but don't lose the streak :D
Congratulations!! I was at 30 days for the first time a short while ago. Each milestone is SO inspiring.
I know! I didn't think I could make it. haha Congratulations to you too! :)
I felt exactly the same way! Now aiming for 60 days... :) I think the rewarding thing about 30 days is that that knowledge that you've done it every day for a MONTH. That's a sizeable chunk of time. (I remember hoping that the practice-every-day habit was now set.) 30 days is a huge milestone - a real achievement! Enjoy... :)
I have a 22 day streak. This is the longest time ever that I didn't forget about doing the duolingo lessons.
I'm happy for you! Keep up the great work and let's celebrate your 30 day streak soon. :)
Had to keep re-doing the lessons for my bad memory. :D Here's a lingot back. :)
