1 week - 1001 points. Yeah!
I just completed 1001 points for this week, with 1hr 15mins left before the start of the new week. Now THAT was a lot of work. I started French this week, which is where the bulk of the points came from (along with Italian). I completed my Duolingo goal! I think if I see another Italian/French word my head will explode.
Thanks Duolingo! Keep studying Duolingoers!
To complete the Italian tree! 4 topics to go. The dreaded "subjunctive" is one of them, ugh.
I'm at 889 for this week (the new one has yet to start where I live), which is my most ever (I don't use Duo all that much).
Immersion definitely boosts the number (I went from Tier 1 with a few points to Tier 2 with about 20 in around a day, after translating something like 60 sentences), but I did quite a few lessons too, because they're always fun (a few Italian and German, a ton of Spanish).
Sweet! It's cool to see people doing multiple modules. There's no way I could do that without getting confused. My total for this week is 2027, and I'm not doing immersion, just lessons. I could be a lot farther in the tree but I spend a decent amount of time on practicing and I do the individual lessons several times before moving on to the next one. Hence why I see people at level 13 having completed the entire tree, but I'm not even half-way yet.
Keep up the good work!
