Am I right in thinking that cogito ergo sum (which I'm assuming this is based off) is usually translated as I think therefore I am? It's nice to know it in another language

In Polish, "Cogito ergo sum" is always translated as "Myślę, więc jestem".

Skahmed is correct. I was confused because "cogito ergo sum" is conventionally translated into English as "I think, therefore I am." The sentence "I think so I am" sounds more to me like "I think THAT I am," such as one would say in response to a question like "Do you think that you're ready?"

"I think, therefore I am." is the standard English translation and is much clearer. Will report.
