Why no genitive case?

I have gone through the sections on the nominative case, the accusative case and the dative case, all very thorough, but I can see nothing on the genitive case. Why is this? The uses of the genitive case are surely just as important as those of the others.

It's not nearly as important, but there are some sections devoted to it after the first "lock".

Most likely because the genitive case is not used as often as the other three anymore. In colloquial german it is getting replaced by the dativ case.
