Translation:This room is too dirty.
Does anyone know when to use 'zbyt' versus 'za'?
One can always replace 'za' with 'zbyt', but the converse is not true.
When in doubt, it's safer to use use 'zbyt'.

The pronunciation of 'zbyt' sounds like 'z' to me
Why cant I say "This room is way too dirty"?
Well, "way" is an intensifier that was not in the Polish sentence. I'd say it's like "o wiele za brudny".
I think zbyt has more a connotation of "rather" in this context?
"zbyt" = "too", simple as that :)
I wrote the correct answer but it says I am wrong
