In Italian, what's the difference between sei, sono, siamo, and é?

They are all present conjugations of the verb essere (to be)

Sei = you are (informal)

Sono = I am or they are

Siamo = we are

È = he/she/it is or you are (formal)

Siete = you (all) are (plural)

There are many other conjugations but that is all for the present tense. Other tenses etc are covered further down the tree.
