Thanks to Duolingo...
Thanks to duolingo (and other external sources) I gained confidence in my Spanish. I actually applied for a job position that required fluency in at least 2 languages...I had to take an exam, which was terrifying. But I managed to impress the people with my "sub-par" Spanish skills and my charming personality. With my newly found confidence I started a youtube channel to practice speaking...(even if it is only to myself lol)
So thanks...I still have a long way to go, but having fun along the way.
here's my channel...if you want to help me with my poor grammar etc etc... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qogXqTIpLvw
That's awesome! How long have you been practicing Spanish? I'll check your video out soon!
On and off for about 2 years...but in the last year I finally decided to just do Spanish constantly
Great! I've been trying to learn since high school. Dropped it for about 6 years haha I'm finally back to it. Been practicing constantly for 4.5 months now
Wow! Great story!! I hope you have fun at your new job!! Congrats!!!
EDIT: its crazy how Duolingo helps so many people! ^_^
thank you, haven't officially gotten it, still more hoops to jump through...but it was nice to know all the practicing is paying off :)
Wow, great story! That does sound pretty intense, taking an exam in another language entirely for a position, but sounds like you're making great moves in that direction! I watched part of your video link, and it looks like you're having fun along the way, keep it going!
I saw your video in youtube, singing is a good resource for learning, you speak very well...Did you reach that level with duolingo?
**reggaeton is difficult even for spanish speakers xD
thank you, I used a combination of Duolingo, youtube videos, spanish language movies (with subs) and music...
my friend told me to watch a lot of telenovelas...and I tried but...they are too ridiculous lol
I am convinced reggaeton is a separate language :)
