May it be "Do the lessons yourself"?

In this context, "уроки" is 'homework', so unless you call homework 'lessons' where you live, your answer doesn't work.

What context specifies 'homework'? For example if I were competing against my friend in Duolingo and I suspected they were getting help from someone just to beat me in stats I could say this phrase, right?

A better English translation would be "Do your own homework"

Wouldn't that suggest that she/he is doing someone else's homework?

No, but I see why you ask. It's an idiom.

Где указывается, что это домашняя работа??? У нас в школе иногда были самостоятельные уроки. Когда нужно было самому изучить тему и ответить на вопросы. И чем здесь не подходит "lessons"?
