Duolingo is the most popular way to learn languages in the world. Best of all, it's 100% free!

How to request languages??

Do you guys think they should make a new thing where they allow you to submit through email, your requests? I would really like courses for Lithuanian, Mandarin and Korean but have nowhere to request for them! ^^' Thanks for help and suggestions in advance!

The only legitimate way to request a language is to be bilingual and offering to build the course through http://incubator.duolingo.com/apply.

Requests otherwise have no effect as there is no team to build them.

No, I think individual submissions are pretty much the worst way there is, just like individual posts.

Much better, in my opinion, would be to have one central place per language, where supporters could add their vote.

For example, one forum post for (say) Lithuanian, then if you want to request that as well, you upvote the existing post, rather than posting a new one or sending a new mail.

You can't really request a language, it will be put in the incubator as soon as there is enough volunteers to work on the language, so in the mean time, you can work on other languages in Duolingo :)

This is a popular myth. There are many other factors involved in a language entering the incubator.
