Happy New year in different languages
I thought, for a bit of fun, we could try coming up with a massive list of "Happy New Year 2016" in loads of different languages.
Try not to repeat. Instead, if there's one you were going to write, plus one it. To search if it has already been said use "CTRL F"
Happy New Year for 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!
(na-ba bar-sa 2016 ra har-dika a-bhi-nan-dana)
(na-ya sal 2016 mu-ba-rak)
Śubha naba barṣa!
Xīnnián kuàilè!
Hebrew:
The bengali pronunciation you wrote is actually the exact way how it's written. The real pronunciation is [śubho nobo borṣo].
I don't actualy know Bengali, but now I know that Google Translate doesn't either!
Chinese Traditional (Hong Kong, Taiwan):
Vietnamese : Chúc mừng năm mới !
[naauay yashchoy bowada!] That's my conlang :')
Here's how it's written in its script:
Rather नया साल मुबारखो :) I'm not sure with "Mubarak Ho"/"mubarakho" though.
Spanish: Feliz Año Nuevo!
Esperanto: Feliĉan Novan Jaron!
Latin: Felix Novus Annus!
Azerbaijani: Yeni Iliniz Mübarək!
Portuguese: Feliz Ano Novo!
Lithuanian: Laimingų Naujųjų Metų!
Punjabi:
Sundanese: Wilujent taun énggal!
No, I definitely do not know all of these languages, I just thought they were pretty awesome. :)
