Fifth tree down!

About 3 years ago, I finished my first tree, the English one, then I went to Spanish, then I did the French tree and strengthened my French doing the English tree for French speakers. After 8 months of hard work, patience and fun descovering a new universe called Italian, on the last day of the year I finally finished my Italian tree.

Now I can say I know all the main Romance languages(I speak Portuguese) and yay I'm quite happy for it. But I won't stop here, I'll start the Spanish tree for French speakers and work on these two languages for a while since I want to become fluent in both.

I'd like to thank Duolingo and everyone behind it for producing my favourite language learning tool! =)

(Begins to panic frantically.) Did aliens abduct all the speakers of Catalan and Romanian?! (Runs to bookshelf proceeds to hide Catalan books.) Ah! Don't abduct me! I only know a few words! (Hides under bed with Toki Pona textbook and cheese.)

Congratulations, you're in the top like 0.1 percent of duolingo users, and you've demonstrated to yourself that you have the internal motivation to stick with just about any long term goal. Now keep that streak up and start looking for literature and television in your target languages. I like Theatre Classique for french, myself.

What a patience and motiwation! Congratulations! :) Today I finished my first tree, the easiest one - English, but it was not a challenge, I know it pretty well. Next is Spanish. I hope to have so much endurance as you!
