Any learners fancy a spot of translation practice who could give me a hand with something?
Turkish-learners! Any of you making good time with the tree, and fancy a spot of translation practice, who could give me a hand with something?
I got the following comment posted in response to a link to a picture I posted up on a Facebook page I run (Doctor Who themed, if this comment has even the slightest bit to do with that). Google Translate and the automatic FB translation don't seem to be making much sense - I don't know whether that's because there's spelling mistakes, or machine translation from Turkish isn't very reliable, or maybe the comment just doesn't make sense anyway - no idea!

I shall give lingots to anyone who can help, if you want them - many thanks in advance!
Happy New Year, everyone! ^_^
Many thanks to MtUlku, who's sussed out the original for me!
It's spam, but my page is a character-page, and I feel like giving an in-character reply to it...if anyone could translate the following reply, from me, into Turkish, that would be much love! I don't mind if it's not perfect - I'm making no pretence of being a native speaker or anything, and it's not exactly a professional or serious thing.
The character is a bit of a toff in his original media, who hangs out in the 1880s a lot, so if it's possible to keep a very old-fashioned, snobbish tone, that'd be best.
My good sir, I'm rather afraid that gambling is one of the few vices in which I do not engage in this life...although I was rather good at football in my youth... I say - do you play cricket?
