My new year's resolution is getting the Yiddish course on track. I am a native speaker of both German and Yiddish (but German is my stronger language) and just applied to contribute to the course. I hope my application will be accepted! I am already thinking about a concept for the course and reading through my books that teach yiddish to German and English speakers. Unfortunately English is not my mother tongue and I do have some troubles with parts of the English grammar - therefore, if i will be accepted, I need your help. Let's do this! Let's get Yiddish back on track!

My grandmother did. Now we speak mostly German - but sometimes we speak Yiddish.

I've been working hard at German using the German for Portuguese speakers course. After I finish it, I think I'll treat myself with a book called the Joys of Yiddish by Leo Rosten.

I've been thinking that if your application isn't accepted you should try and create a Yiddish for German speakers course. I'm sure there is a few German speakers keen to learn Yiddish
