Det*

Det kan ikke være for mye toalettpapir = There shouldn't be too much toilet paper

Det kan aldri være for mye toalettpapir = There can't ever be too much toilet paper

Takk!
(And it was the second sentence that I was trying to express.)

In these COVID times "the toilet paper index" is a measure in Australia of the fear consumers have that there is going to be another lock down. Don't know the Norwegian for "panic buying" :) In other words, no such thing as 'for mye toalettpapir"
