Students locked out of accounts
I am a teacher using Duolingo in middle school. My students sometimes forget their passwords for Duolingo. I help them click the link to reset passwords, but the email never comes though. Do other teachers have this problem? I also have students check their spam folders.
There are a few things that might be happening. If the students use a fake email address, no link can be generated. If they haven't checked their spam/junk folders, they should. If they are using Gmail, it might have been sorted into the Social tab. This happened to me once and I didn't even know there was such a thing! Another thing they can try is to create a filter to catch the email. There are instructions for gmail Here. Someone told me once that the process is very similar for yahoo. The concept is similar for several other mail carriers. I hope this helps!
