Is "they" and "you (formal)" always the same in German?

Hallo! So until now I've been lazily remembering the word for the formal 'you' (Sie) by remembering the word for "they" (sie), and I'm wondering how reliable (or even correct) this is. They seem to follow all the same rules, the only difference I can tell between the two is that Sie is capitalized when we're talking about 'you' (formal). The same goes for possessive, accusative, and dative cases too (or seems to). Danke!

Yes, exactly right. They are always identical except for capitalization.
