Option to delete a course 'greyed out.'

I completed Spanish for English speakers the other day. I decided to learn French next, but added the course as a speaker of Spanish. I did that on purpose because I tried to learn French as an English speaker and kept mixing up the languages. Since I am pretty proficient at reading Spanish now thanks to a mix of classes, Duo, and other resources, I decided to learn French, but as a speaker of Spanish. I want to delete this option (French), but when I clicked on the link to actually delete a course, the option to do so is greyed out (I cannot click delete, but only reset my stats back to zero). I searched the forum and found an answer, but I do not understand. Can someone explain why this is happening? Thank you.

Learning languages from English is a different interface (you can see it as almost a different app) than learning languages from Spanish which is a different interface than learning from French which is etc.
And you can't have an interface with no languages being learned.

Thus, the course of French for Spanish speakers being your only course under the Spanish interface, you can't delete it.
