Duolingo is the most popular way to learn languages in the world. Best of all, it's 100% free!

Duolingo needs a volume control?

I don't know if anyone else feels the same way?

Sometimes I like to have music playing softly in the background, or I'll do some lessons during a skype call. Duolingos audio is so high though that it overpowers everything else.

If for example I do a lesson during a skype call, duolingo almost hurts my ears when I have skype at a comfortable level.

I usually end up having to lower the audio of my browser in my system settings, which is then a pain to reset.

I don't know. I feel like I had to good point to make, but not the words to make it...

The audio of the sentences themselves or of the sound effects when you get something wrong or complete a lesson?

Personally I have never noticed Duolingo's audio to be any louder than any other sites I use, but I have disabled the sound effects since I found them to be annoying.

The sentences themselves. The sound effects can be quite loud as well, but like you, I disabled them.
