Students not receiving emails
My students are not receiving emails when I give them assignments through the duolingo classroom. Is anyone else having this problem?
Could it have gone to their spam folders? You may want to check that. Also make sure they have valid email addresses.
That's interesting. I tested it, and I get skill goal emails just fine. I'll try it again.
Hi Neurosauruspham! I just checked your account, and it seems that you are only in your own classroom, meaning, you are your own teacher. Are you testing that way and seeing you are not receiving emails from assignments you created for yourself? Please clarify so that we can help. :]
@VillaCooper, if you haven't already, can you send the link to this conversation and the usernames/classrooms of the affected students (to email@example.com)? We need their info to figure out what the issue is. Do you know if they receive other Duolingo emails at all?
Hi! If they are not receiving emails, please look at the Help page under For Educators -> "What if my student isn’t receiving assignment and password reset emails?" There are instructions there to help you troubleshoot. Sorry you cannot yet re-send or share URL. We're working on alternatives so that this doesn't stop assignments from reaching the students, thanks for pointing it out!
