Strange error

On Monday, I gained 40 xp more than usual (my usual is twenty) and I learned two lessons that I had been working on for a long time; adverbs and objects. Strangely enough, when I completed the two skills, I noticed that they both were at half strength, as if I had not practiced for a long time, and that To Be, which had just been unlocked, was now completed and also at half strength. When I strengthened To Be, It popped right up to full strength, even though it was the first time I had done that lesion. What's up?

My story: After a long time of working on Adverbs and Objects in Spanish, I completed them. Then it all of a sudden completed To Be automatically when I never even done it! I'm confused. {@style=color: lightblue; text-shadow: -1px -1px 0 navy, 1px -1px 0 white, -1px 1px 0 white, 1px 1px 0 white, -1px -4px 8px lightblue, 2px -2px 5px blue, 0 0 10px lightblue, 2px -2px 15px aqua, -5px 5px 20px blue, 5px 5px 25px navy, 0px 6px 6px blue, -5px 15px 30px blue, 0 -20px 35px blue, 2px 22px 40px blue; font-size: 35px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 45px;}

Happened to me too

That's because the first lessons within the lesson were unstrengthened, and so the whole lesson was affected because of that.
It's normal when you spend long time to complete 1 lesson, always happens

I've been using this website for about a year now. I made this as my second account for teaching purposes because our school, yet I'm having this similar problem. Sad thing is I already know french. Native speaker. I suppose it may also have to do with the struggles in the Classroom system, even though I am using Chrome...

If you already know French, then you shouldn't worry about skills getting de-strengthened (or whatever is the opposite of strengthen xD), because you already know it! That's what I do with English.
I already know the tree almost from memory, so I don't worry if it's only gold less than 50% of it. If I can communicate, it's enough. Although it's better to make no mistakes, but that's hard to achieve.

I have this exact same problem. Or maybe they just did that because we had the words in To Be in Adverbs and Objects.

That happened to me as well. After completing Adverbs and Objects they had low strength and To Be was completed with full strength.

Duolingo works very slowly. After completing a lesson it goes straight to home and does not record my progress. It works fine, however on my I-pad. Something is wrong with the program.

Well when I unlocked To Be, I did not start doing it, but it was already done!
