"El conjunto de todas las cosas no verdes es una cosa no verde."
Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this sentence sounds awkward.
It seems grammatically correct, but I can't for the life of me figure out its meaning. The group is a thing, in the material sense? That thing is not green? What ?
"Ideas verdes incoloras duermen furiosamente."
is this meant to be "in the group of the non green things is a non green thing" ?
you typically cannot use "non" independently or in an unhyphenated way. "the things that aren't green" is the only really good way to say it in english
Can you stick to sentences that I'm likely to need in a real-life situation o.o
